Quite low on caffeine, but that doesn’t matter as it tastes very good. It’s fruity but not in a clone way, so I’m going to let it off with that because I enjoyed it. It’s a supermarket own-brand drink with a difference so that gets extra points in my book.
It’s a clone, and not a particularly interesting one. It’s nice tasting and as a bonus sugar-free by default (I’m assuming there’s no full fat version.) Discovered on the (German??) island of Majorca, this is a German energy drink.

It’s a clone on the sweet side. Pretty nice tasting but nothing special. Then again, why did I expect from a can with the silver showing through so predominantly… just saying, it usually means it is a budget drink. I stumbled across this one in a vending machine in Madrid airport.
Or Frutos Do Bosque com Sumo as it says on the can. That last bit, according to my phone’s translation software is “with Jeremy”. I don’t think the translator is working properly. It’s average tasting though, quite berry like, but it gives you a massive kick.
I was expecting something a bit like a raspberry freeze-pop but it was nothing like that. It’s more like a mixed fruit drink with a sharp touch to the flavour. It packs a really recent punch but tastes average. At least it is pretty original though.
Surprisingly not another Red Bull clone! I’m not sure if it’s a supermarket own brand or not, but it is very low in caffeine. It tastes quite sweet and fruity – Not much of a kick but still tasty.

This is just the sugar-free version of 28 Black. It tastes more or less the same so it gets the same scores! It also contains the recently hyped Stevia (read about that here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stevia) and is the first energy drink I’ve seen to contain this sugar substitute. I expect to see a lot more Stevia based drinks in the near future.

Sharp and fruity. Not to my taste but I’d say this was a mixture of berries and tropical fruits. It reckons it’ll give me 28 hours of energy and there’s even a graph on the side of the can to scientifically prove it beyond reasonable doubt. Nope… not convinced myself, but it’s a potent drink.
Discovered in a small duty-free shop on the main street in Gibraltar, this is another Red Bull clone. It’s nice, just unoriginal. It’s a Spanish drink which I’ve never seen sold anywhere else, but then again I don’t frequent Spain that often. It’s on the sweet side, comparable to the Aldi own-brand in taste.
