Very tasty but sadly hardly any caffeine that I could tell. It contains guarana extract but that doesn’t appear to give the drink enough caffeine to warrant a high caffeine warning. The mint flavour is very subtle and works well with the fruity lemon-lime.
Amazing! So refreshing and with a decent hit of caffeine (even if they do call it Coffeine – Caffeine anhydrous from coffee bean. It’s lightly carbonated and fresh and fruity.
Considerably better than the melon variant and quite unusual tasting. It was fresh yet synthetic and not a lemon flavour I’ve come across before. It’s got those all important BCAAs in for the body builders (I’m not convinced by this latest trend which you may have realised if you’ve read previous reviews). Very high in caffeine and a large can, so be careful and drink in moderation! After a bit of research, it turns out that Reign is in fact a sister brand for Monster (not a sub-brand)… just a bit of added energy drink trivia for you there.

I’m a big fan of lemon flavoured energy drinks, especially chilled ones opened on a hot summer’s day because they are usually very refreshing. This one was so close, but the lemon flavour is just slightly too strong. It’s sugar-free (without making a song and dance about it on the can) which is I am assuming to avoid the sugar-tax imposed on high sugar beverages in the UK.

A fresh and very sweet sugar-free energy drink. It’s so sweet in fact that you’d struggle to believe it’s sugar free. Very nice, very refreshing.

I drank this one with memories of the other Aspire drinks close to hand… and as I suspected I didn’t enjoy it. It’s really bitter and watery, with no real fruity flavouring or sweetness to it at all. It tastes how you’d expect something really healthy to taste! There’s no tropical or lemon hints there at all, sorry…

A nice little lemon-lime energy drink. The selling point of this one is its use of natural fruit juice instead of artificial flavourings. I think it really makes a different because it’s fruity and refreshing… it’s just a shame that fruit juice isn’t low calorie!
I’m a massive fan of lemon energy drinks and this is no disappointment. It’s pretty much Lemon Fanta with caffeine and goes down a treat. The can is larger than normal UK energy drinks (at 355ml) and of course includes the associated increase in caffeine and sugar as a consequence.
A very nice lemon and lime flavoured energy drink. Quite often with the lemon/lime flavours, they taste like someone has used way too much cordial. But, this one is balanced just right. This is the first ESTAR drink I’ve discovered and looking at their web site they seem to have many flavour varieties. If I come across any others I’ll be sure to grab and review them quickly.
