Infinitly better than the Orange variety of this drink, as in it didn’t make me feel sick. It really does just taste like slightly fruity still water. Okay, so it’s got a tiny amount of protein in it, but it’s not worth the money in my opinion so just buy a protein bar and a can of Red Bull instead.
Sickly in quantity but not too bad overall. It’s more like drinking one of those cheap children’s plastic cup drinks than an energy drink because it’s still and not carbonated. Nothing original though as there are dozens of berry drinks which taste the same.

Just as with the ordinary KX Red Berry, it’s very strong and overpowering. Not to my taste but it is pretty original.

Cheap and naff, to be honest. A non-descript blackcurrant flavour, a little sharp for my liking. It’s an obvious attempt to jump on the flavoured energy drink market. Step 1) choose between tropical, orange, berry, citrus. Step 2) Sell new flavour. It’s not original and I hope these brands start to innovate a bit more in future.
Tart and sickly. I suppose it’s okay for a budget supermarket own-brand, but it brings nothing original to the energy drinks market and isn’t particularly to my taste either.

Synthetically berry. This tastes of America… it’s one of two very synthetic flavours I associate with energy drinks from the USA, the other being grape. I like the taste but it’s nothing original any more and can be found in the Rip It and Crunk ranges. If you’ve never tried one of those equivalents then give this one a go.

Putting the name aside, I’ll try to review the drink on its own merits! Looking at the picture on the front of the can I’m lead to believe that the three fruits involved in this drink are strawberry, blueberry and blackberry. It does taste quite nice mixing those together, but the overall effect is to make it taste like it should have been frozen and served in a long plastic tube on a hot summer’s day. Colour-wise it’s the same, with Rip It seemingly taking inspiration from Mountain Dew in their use of bright colourants in their drinks. 3-way is a bright blue! It’s not the best in the range, but it certainly gets high marks.

An interesting combination – I think that Sainsbury”s have just taken a summer fruits cordial, added some carbonated water, and dropped a couple of Pro Plus tablets in to the concoction. I’m not sure this is a necessary addition to the own-brand energy drink market but all the supermarkets seem to be trying to out-do each other at the moment.
This was pretty good. Euro Shopper have branched out predictably from their standard Energy Drink offerings to include two new fruity flavours. This one tastes of berries and is generically fruity yet very nice. For 39p, you can’t really go wrong and as with the other Euro Shopper drinks it’s worth a go.
