Red Bull Summer Edition (2022) – Apricot and Strawberry
December 3rd, 2022I know, it’s winter by the time this review is being posted, but that’s not my fault. I didn’t find it in the shops until a few weeks ago! There’s a definite Red Bull feel to the flavour, it’s smooth and fruity. The apricot is unusual for an energy drink and is quite nice, but I couldn’t really taste the strawberry coming through at all. There was a general fruity mix to the flavour along with the apricot. Overall, this is quite summery tasting and not as odd as you might think!

E-ON – Apricot Rush
February 27th, 2016There is a slight taste of apricot in this drink, but to be honest the most overwhelming flavour I detected was almond. It was like drinking marzipan! A bit of Googling turned up that apricot kernels and almonds are similar in taste, so that is probably what’s been used to make this drink. It’s very different, but probably not for everyone!
