It does actually taste like Millions sweets! I think this flavour is basically what you’d get if you soaked strawberry Millions in water for a few ays and drained off the results. It’s not as strong in flavour as the actual sweets themselves, it’s quite watered down tasting, but the flavour is very recognisable and really nice.

This is Monster’s take on an apple flavoured drink. The flavour is so subtle though that I totally forgot I was drinking an apple drink! It’s basically like normal Monster energy but with a subtle apple tint to it. Quite drinkable as usual!
I bog standard regular orange flavoured drink. You couldn’t even tell that it’s an energy drink to be honest, it just tastes like a slightly fizzy orange squash. It tastes ok, but it’s not a premium product really

An unspecified ‘original’ flavour in a white can which is reminiscent of Monster Ultra, which is also sold in a white can! This drink has a sweet citrus flavour, also very similar to Monster Ultra. It’s sugar-free which is great, and packs quite a caffeine punch especially as it’s a larger than normal 330ml can. A nice drink if you find it at a decent price, but drink it chilled as it becomes a bit sickly once it starts to warm up.

Another orange energy drink for 2024. This time it’s a lot more ‘healthy’ tasting, and by that I mean it’s a bit sharp and tangy, in my mind I’d call the flavour ‘bare’! It’s sweet, but not overly, and certainly tastes more like a raw fruit flavour than a sugar-laden cordial.

Orange seems to be making a bit of a come-back for 2024 and I’m seeing a few new orange-flavoured drinks around. This Orange Monster is really quite a smooth tasting drink. The orange flavour is mellow without any sharp edges but not weak – it’s almost like a slightly creamy tasting orange (weird, huh?) but it works well.
I’m not usually a fan of pineapple. Don’t get me wrong, I love the flavour it adds to the lemon chicken sauce at my local Chinese takeaway, but on its own as a single flavour I’m not that keen. But… Monster have taken just the sweet top-notes of pineapple flavouring for their White Pineapple drink. This drink is sweet and smooth with no tangy or bitter taste at all. The description says it’s “white pineapple” also known as “sugarloaf”, so perhaps it’s this particular type of pineapple which gives it this smooth flavour rather than the regular varieties I’ve tried as actual fruit? I don’t know, I’m not a pineapple expert. Anyway… really worth a try if you can find a can of this.
In a surprise twist the sugar free version of this drink tastes totally different to the full fat version! It’s still quite watery, but instead of the tangy caramel, it’s a more subtle fruity flavour. Sweet, but no dodgy aftertaste and very drinkable.

Helping Michael Buffer (famed ring announcer) earn a bit more cash from his famous catchphrase, Let’s Get Ready To Rumble Energy is a licensed product which is sadly nothing more than a cloned energy drink underneath. The flavour is watery with notes of caramel. Perfectly nice to drink but it’s the same as many other promotionally branded drinks. In fact it’s made by RBM who also manufacture Furocity.
