This is an unusual find. It’s sold in Tetra Pak cartons instead of cans, and that’s because it’s a still drink rather than carbonated. This Berry and Coconut flavoured variety was very surprisingly quite nice! It’s not too strong in flavour, but has just enough fruity taste to be interesting and refreshing. The caffeine content is low, but enough. Very original, low in calories, top marks from me!

Considerably better than the other Tenzing flavour I tried some time back. This one is still on the ‘natural’ and therefore bitter side, but not enough to spoil things. It’s fruity and with a slight citrus tang. I still don’t think that Sherpa Tenzing would approve though…
This brand is attempting to pass itself off as premium. The two-tone design of the can is a step in the right direction, but the drink itself is nothing unique. It’s on the watery side, which is not a bad thing especially as it’s just about right in terms of not being too sweet, too sickly or too bitter. But, there’s no standout quality and it is ultimately another wannabe.

There’s nothing like Irn Bru… and this is Irn Bru then some. It has the familiar Irn Bru non-distinct mixed fruit flavour, teeth-rotting amount of sugar, and a massive dollop of caffeine in it. As I understand it, this is basically a staple part of the Scottish diet, and indeed in my few trips North of the border I have seen copious cans and bottles (and delivery trucks) of Irn Bru. With the addition of caffeine to the magic mixture I now have visions of very hyperactive Scots running around bagging Munroes at a rate of several a minute.

I was expecting a bog standard clone drink, but there was a definite tropical flavour to it. Very sweet and with a sickly aftertaste, but not too overpowering.
I guess this is not actually an energy drink, but it does contain green tea extract so it will have a caffiene content even if it’s not high enough to be declared on the can. And speaking of the can, it’s an odd design being plastic wrapped – peeling off that plastic wrap reveals the original can design which is exactly the same but totally in Italian! This is billed as a Wellness Drink, and it tastes like it too. It’s quite watery, but it does have an odd taste which I assume is the mixture of fennel, green tea, yerba mate and ginseng.

Well the name and the can design are quite good in my opinion, but the drink is just a generic clone. It’s a sweet and sickly one too, and leaves a sugary coating in your mouth.
I have to say, I wasn’t sure what to expect with this one. With the note on the can to say there’s no alcohol, I was puzzled – turns out that the drink is brewed so basically tastes like non-alcoholic beer! I’m not a fan of beer, so I didn’t particularly enjoy it. Also, I couldn’t taste any grapefruit or lime… I’m sure it was in there somewhere but the brewed flavour was overwhelmingly the dominant flavour.

This is a pretty sweet and refreshing apple drink, not very sour but quite fizzy in both carbonation and flavour. Overall, it’s still a cheap tasting own-brand energy drink packed full of sugar.
