It’s a middle of the road tropical drink. I managed to drink the whole can, so that means it wasn’t to sour or sharp. It was, however, very sickly, and a large 500ml can like this was far too much in one go.
Never underestimate the power to big up yourself. Well, at least that’s what it says on the can. This fruit punch flavoured drink is quite nice actually. Checking out the web site shows that this drink is also available in original and ginger flavours, but I haven’t found them in the shops yet. There marketing also appears to be all about alcohol, with mixer suggestions available for each flavour.

Sharp and sour and really not to my taste. This is another one of those supposedly healthy style energy drinks. I didn’t enjoy it at all to be honest, but if you are the sort of person who is in to juicing then it may appeal to you.

I couldn’t finish this can, it’s just as flaming’ awful as the female ‘Wellwoman’ drink. This is specifically designed for men, so probably contains engine oil and sweat, although the ingredients only talk about things like green tea extract, guarana and artichoke. The main juices are apple and grape but I couldn’t taste that. Most of it went down the sink

Again, it’s all in the name. I’m assuming that this is a special edition for Valentine’s day or something, but under the covers it is just a pretty bland clone. Slightly watery with a sticky aftertaste, but on the positive side it cost 99p for 6 cans.
I really like this. It’s like a rip-off of Mountain Dew, only smoother in flavour. When I opened the bottle, it make a satisfying ‘tsskk’ sound, and a gentle mist actually started flowing from the opening like an early morning scene in a BBC costume drama. Very dramatic for such a budget drink!
Yee haaa, you gotta love these Continental European energy drink naming policies. It’s another budget clone, but why not call it Rodeo? The name, I guess as with most other drinks to be fair, means nothing. They haven’t bothered with a colour in the name either, just plain Rodeo. It’s the only thing different about this mediocre drink sadly.
I’m assuming they are jumping on the technology bandwagon and not the spider-based super powers one. It’s a clone to be sure, but quite a nice one. Discovered in a “Powerdino” supermarket in Tenerife, a supermarket worth visiting just for the name alone!
Too high in sugar, too low in caffeine, and much too tropical for my liking. It’s sharp and tart in flavour, mostly taking its flavour from pineapple from what I can tell. It’s Lucozade’s World Cup 2014 special edition and apparently “it’s like a carnival in your mouth”. Hmm.
