There’s no official value on the can for caffeine content, hence I’ve guessed it at being as low as possible. This is branded as being a health drink, containing natural pick-me-ups such as guarana, magnesium, vitamin B6 and others. It tastes okay too so far as health-branded drinks go, but that’ll probably be because of all the sugar (not so healthy after all!).
It’s like a sherbet orange flavoured drink in a bright pink can. The writing on the can is predominantly in Germany, and even Google Translate struggles with the tag-line of “Die Limo Mit Bums”, which apparently means “The Limo With Bums”… I’m sure that’s not correct. It’s a nice drink though, something a bit different, and it gets extra points for calling itself Tantrum in what appears to be a non-ironic way.

I had high hopes for this, but it turns out that strawberry and lime do NOT go together that well – in this instance at least. It was like a badly mixed cocktail.

It’s just a shot of caffeinated fruit juice. I don’t much like fruit juice, so I found this horrific, but if you are after a caffeine perk without the usual energy drink flavour then this is for you. I’d be surprised if you could tell the difference between this drink and a regular juice drink.
Red Bull have managed to tame the tropical flavour in their own special way. It’s just right! Sweet, but not overly, and definitely no nasty aftertaste. If you must go for a tropical energy drink, then you can’t go wrong with this one.

There’s not a lot I can say about this really, it’s a clone, it’s a large can, it’s sweet, it’s middle-of-the-road and nothing special other than the FIST on the front of the can. Full marks for an interesting brand name and can design.
It tastes nice, but it’s basically diabetes in a can. According to the web site it “delivers higher levels of energy than current market leaders.” which is technically correct – it packs a whopping 62 kcal per 100ml which at least rivals Lucozade, but delivering it in a 250ml can and comparing it to other similar products it really does pack a lot more energy in the form of sugar I’m guessing from looking at the carb content.

For Honour. For Glory. For Victory. But not, as it seems, for Sparta. It tastes okay, in fact it tastes an awful lot like No Fear energy. As a consequence, I’m considering it a clone, but not quite a clone of Red Bull. It’s a large can and very sweet, but for the 39p this cost me it’s not bad at all.
Pretty boring and unimaginative. It doesn’t even have zero calories. To me, when something says “Zero calories” on it, call me fussy but I’d expect the calorie content to be zero. In this case it actually contains about 10 calories per can which is still the equivalent of 5 Tic-Tacs. It tastes like a generic sugar-free energy drink too.
